First, congratulations on all of your team's success this year.

Second, I'm hoping someone can tell me if Bowling Green has a webcast option for most home football games? University of North Dakota will be down there next season, and I'm really hoping there will be a way to watch the game. Anyone know if this is usually available, or am I going to have to stick to radio?

Good luck in your bowl game!
Aren't you "Fighting Hawks" now?

It would be nice to get your hockey team down here for a series... :D

Technically we are fighting hawks, but gross. I'll stick to my Fighting Sioux apparel. Agreed, hopefully they can work out a two year deal sometime to get BGSU up to grand forks and UND down there.

I would imagine it'll be on ESPN3. The previous home games BG has had against fellow FCS competitors have been on there.

Awesome, good to know.

All of Bowling Green's home games are available through the WatchESPN app. This is part of the conference-wide TV deal with ESPN.

For what it's worth: For our road games, where the game airs comes down to the opponent's TV rights. All games against MAC opponents are part of the same ESPN TV deal. Other conferences have other arrangements with other networks, so these games won't always be available through the WatchESPN app.

I think OB's use of the phrase least accomplished is somewhat pejorative....other than a national award like the Broyles....what do assistants accomplish? Are they inexperienced? Yes....to say they're the least accomplished suggests there's some sort of benchmark that they whiffed on that other coaching staffs didn't.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

To merge the two topics, Jinks is like a successful producer on an ESPN prime-time broadcasting team who has become a director at CBS Sports Network and has brought in a bunch of people he knows and trusts from ESPN3.

If he surrounds himself with like-minded people with a similar disposition he'll be fine. The aggressive recruiting approach thus far has allayed my concerns about their ability to match the likes of Fleck and others in the conference.

I've watched way too much ESPN3 to find any comfort in this analogy.

We'll see what the staff can do once the recruiting season opens back up. I have a feeling we may see a decent number of JUCO kids from Texas coming here to fill some of the roster holes (especially at DL), but they'll have their work cut out for them.
