Weird game. We're holding onto a slim lead. First half both teams played good defense as both teams went through long stretches of poor shooting/inability to score.

I wasn't able to watch real closely, had it on while I was in the kitchen, but sounded like Worrell had a good half and Denny was grabbing a bunch of boards.

Also, as I sit down to watch the 2nd half I had to crack up as I see ESPN3 is also airing the 2016 World Dart Championships...hmmm, the choices!

Some nice play from Denny, Worrell, and Ali takes us on an 8-0 run, which the way this game is going for both squads offensively, is like a 20-0 spurt.

Up 11 on to our 8th win of the year. This team is polar.

I think they've mostly all come off assists (and I think a couple FTs), but very nice to see him show a little touch on the short bank/bunnies.

He's definitely an athletic big with a good ceiling. Both he & Worrell have done some scoring in this one. CSU doesn't seem to have much size/athleticism in the paint to do anything about it.

Much, much, much better effort today by BG. There was actually a decent crowd here this afternoon either all things considered. I do wish this game would have been played over at The Q like CSU's games vs Kent State and Ohio were the last couple weeks though. I talked to a guy from CSU here who said KSU and OU both talked afterwards about how it will benefit their younger players who hadn't played in The Q before when they're back in there for the MAC Tournament to have played at game in there like that. A lot of teams seem to struggle shooting in The Q in the tournament. Of course, KSU and OU are fixtures in The Q for the MAC Tournament unlike BG, but still. CSU has been getting much better crowds just a few blocks away at The Q and they even put their home floor down in there when they play. Much, much more food and drink options around The Q too and even a little more foot traffic when CSU has been over there. He told me the hope is to also start attracting some solid non-conference games for CSU there in the future as CSU and the Cavs strengthen their partnership.

But back to BG, real nice bounce-back win today, and a much-needed win! We're off now for a week and half before wrapping up the non-conference with Oakland City before diving into MAC play against Miami.
GO BG!!!
