Toledo is starting to lay the lumber against Temple. A very nice win for the Rockets and the MAC over a ranked team if it stands. Now BG needs to do its part tomorrow.

Wondering if Soupy Campbell took time from counting his money to watch the game.

Good for Toodleedo this is a nice win and great for the MAC. I've watched Temple a few times this year and don't recognize this team. Poor play calling until the last 5 min, not playing their strengths and whimpy execution. Temple is not worthy of a top 25 ranking.

Congrats to Toledo on a very stellar win for the conference, Temple seemed a little off all night but credit to Toledo for shutting down their offense and really forcing their hand. If BG and NIU get wins today/tonight, this will be a very successful bowl season for the MAC regardless of what happens the rest of the way out. The AAC and MAC have definitely shown they were the two top G5 conferences this season.

Gotta give credit to the rockettes...very solid bowl win. And good for Akron as well. They finished 8-5 and we hammered them by 49.

GO FALCONS!

Toledo may not be able to win the conference but they represent the conference well. They had a really good season.

Agreed, if anything their season speaks well of the MAC. They beat Arkansas and had a very nice bowl win over a pretty good Temple squad. And yet they couldn't even win their division of our conference.

The MAC has 3 very good programs right now, and WMU is a 4th that is at least competitive.

The rest of the conference is mostly suck, but the top of the conference can compete with any of the non Power5 (and obviously the bottom half of the power 5 as well) quite well. I hope as UT & BG lose 2 more coaches that we can continue this momentum. The world feels right, to me, with BG, UT, and NIU at the top of the MAC. Kinda wish Miami would get back to our level as well...

Good point and I agree. Year in and year out they churn out good seasons. They just can't seem to get past NIU.

Northern Illinois is getting annihilated against Boise State. Northern doesn't even have 40 yards of total offense heading into the fourth quarter.

With Western's nice win yesterday, the MAC sits at 3-3. Central has a chance to beat a 5-7 Minnesota team to give the conference a winning bowl record.
