Western Michigan/Walleye Game

Post by Falcon Fanatic »

We got our tickets in the mail today. We're in Section 116.

BEAT WESTERN!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."
~~USCHO Poster
"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Can't wait for this game......on a side note I heard that ESPN contacted BG and the WCHA because they wanted to do a 30 for 30 on this season and how tough our schedule is.

"What if I told you a team missed the 2015 NCAA Hockey Tournament by .002 points in the computer rankings?
What if I told you the next year they had to play the toughest second half schedule in the history of college hockey including 2 games at Alabama-Huntsville? What if I told you that same team refused to schedule 2 for 1 game contracts with the University of Michigan and had to add two defenseman to the roster at winter break?.....ESPN 30 for 30 proudly presents the story behind the 2015-16 BGSU Hockey Team....a film narrated by Doc Emrick and directed by Steven Speilberg......."Chris Bergeron and the Schedule of Doom".....coming to ESPN in April 2016 (check your local listings)

Apollo,

Why is there such hatred for everything BG Hockey this season? If you are so unhappy, just stay home, go away and stop bothering those that are enjoying a nine game unbeaten streak. I agree with Coach Bergeron about doing 2 for 1 scheduling with Michigan, Michigan State, or anyone else. If we were good enough to be in the CCHA with them for many years, we are good enough to schedule them one to one. I wish the CCHA was still intact, but it is not so we need to move on.

If BG Hockey is not good enough for you, then stay home. I, however, will support BGSU hockey. I have since 1976. I watched the rise, the peak, the fall, the depths, and I am enjoying the rise back to national recognition.

Go BG!!

Apollo,

You're absolutely correct, the numbers don't lie...our schedule is weak, and it's entirely possible that the WCHA may get only one NCAA bid this year.

Why, on God's green earth you seem to feel it necessary to hijack every single thread on this forum with the same negative tripe is beyond comprehension.

Send me a PM with your name, address and a dollar amount you feel is fair compensation, and I will GLADLY buy your tickets for the rest of the season.

Why would I give any of my tickets up? I'll be there today along with the other 799 fans at the Huntington Center cheering on the Falcons. Should be a good one.

Nothing like a game at the Huntington Center to really make you appreciate the BGSU Ice Arena.
