BG vs Miami game thread

BG is a 4-point favorite tonight. But Miami has won 4 of the last 5 in the series including 3 consecutive games at the Stroh. They obviously like playing there because they didn't have good teams in any of those wins and one of those victories was a first round game of the MAC Tournament. Wins in the MAC aren't gonna be easy for BG to come by. Must get this one tonight.

Game was on tv on an ESPN extra channel here and I watched on the DVR slightly behind live. Sort of an ugly game, no much of a flow, but I'll take a win any way we can get one. Real nice to finally beat Miami in the Stroh and more importantly, win our MAC opener!

Wiggins had a real nice game last night. Very active on the glass and help defense.

First half was awful. We played like garbage and were winning because Miami threw the ball to us or lost their dribble as much as they could get themselves a shot off. Second half was still a bit sloppy before BG went through a real nice defensive stretch to turn a 1 point lead into a double digit lead. From that point on the game was never really close. Miami pressed at the end and we didn't turn it over much, and most of all, made our free throws down the stretch.

Wasn't a real great game, but it was a nice MAC win. Wiggins had a good night and Denny had a real good night scoring.

I'll take it, even if it is against one of the worst teams in the conference.
