Re: @Soo
I am glad I have watched enough Falcon hockey to know the refs are terrible, so this seems normal.
Bring back the glory!
Re: @Soo
What's worse is there was no contact until the goaltender went into the butterfly. He initiated the contact, outside the crease. If I was coach, the phones in the league office would be blowing up before Monday.falcon54 wrote:laker goaltender was outside the crease another disallowed bs goal.

And it appears we lose, Nell doesnt think it went in, but it appears to be in the net. A laker play was in the crease when the puck crossed the line, but that rule doesn't apply when we get scored on.

Kiss that NCAA at-large bid good-bye
Lost 1 - 0 in OT

Re: @Soo
It is bad enough listening to their idiot announcers that called murphy, mark and i swear yesterday he called mclain, denny also said a good harvard team was pounding a good quinnipiac team 4-0 which was opposite of the real score and last but not least will let you know how many times a team iced the puck. They were proud of that bs win, another loss or tie due to the disallowed goal. A new ncaa record in one season.

He was the color man with Pivnick. If I'd known that I would have listened to WBGU. I listened to the LSSU radio broadcast; I often listen to the opponent's radio.poltergeist wrote:...

Re: @Soo
Defiel is mediocre at best and we make him look phenomenal every single time we play him. I'm sick of BG trying to coast past LSSU and any other crappy team we play.

Re: @Soo
BG has a top5 goaltender in the country and we can't support him with offense.
Number 1 thing this team is lacking is legit scoring threats and skill guys. The problem with that is those guys are hard to come by, much like great starting QB or a shut sown starting pitcher. Those type of guys can pick where they want to go play college hockey and most of them go out east and play in the Hockey East some have spawn up in the NCHC.
I just hope with Nell in goal the next two seasons (if he doesn't leave early) we can get some legit scorers and not make him set goals against records just to compete.

Re: @Soo
People were fooled by the first half record. Nell is a stud, the rest of the team is average. I've been saying it for over a year we are not a top 15 or top 20 program yet. Anyone who follows the game nationally can see the offensive skill is in other conferences. If we played teams that could score we'd really get exposed, luckily the WCHA is what it is.
If Nells in net we have a chance.
