Seemed to work out pretty well for Thomas Rawls last year as well. He was a highly touted RB out of HS who saw limited action at Michigan most of his career, transferred to CMU for one year, and launched right into the NFL where he actually played this year.

Texas Tech Red Raiders quarterback Davis Webb is looking for somewhere to transfer where he can compete to play immediately after he graduates Tech in the Spring. Soon after announcing that he will transfer from Tech, Syracuse's co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Sean Lewis began following Webb on Twitter, a potential sign that Syracuse intends to recruit Webb.

Looks very much to be the case. If you Google "Davis Webb Colorado" it pops up all over the place. I gotta say, Boulder is a damn fine place. I love Boulder and CU, they're beautiful.

Well $hit....so much for that. I really had my hopes up when that article said he was coming here. But I can't blame him one bit. Boulder and the University of Colorado are fantastic.

I don't think anyone ever said he's "better" than anyone here. No one knows that for sure. I personally was a little disappointed that we didn't get him based on who will/would win out the QB competition with him in the mix alone. But yes, if he is indeed better than anyone we have here already, then yes, we did lose out. But it's a moot point now since he's not even coming.
