End of 2, BG leads 5-2. Shots are showing 23-16 in BG's favor.

Great weekend of BG Hockey!! Just what the doctor ordered! Lots of kids scoring, a 12 goal weekend, a shorty and some PP goals!

Well done, boys!!

SWEEP TECH!!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Nice two games. Good attendance for both too. Chalk talk was interesting as well. I could warm up to these odd day series.

Great weekend! Keep up the strong play next weekend, against a better opponent. I enjoyed the chalk talk, too.

UAA's Eric Roberts took a hitting-from-behind minor penalty and the the checking-from-behind major. It was his first collegiate game. The radio guys said those were his first two shifts. He certainly made an impact on the scoresheet.

Can't lie. I could sit and listen to Berge talk hockey all day. Easy to see how we've made the jump from where we were when they came in

He had twice as many penalty minutes as he does actual college game experience. And leads the nation in penalty minutes per game with 17.

AGREE! I really love listening him talk about the team and the program. He's so dynamic and you find yourself riveted to everything he says. No question why he was their top recruiter when he was with the redskinhawks!!
