You know what sucks even more than our play of late? Our piss poor excuse for an effing "radio network".

I had to work late tonight and got out a bit before 8. Checking the stations that sometimes carry our games proved fruitless so I used the auto tuner on both fm and am. Found about 6 stations playing the OSU game. Found 3-4 playing the UT game. Found a few hs games (Incidentally I think at least one of those was on a station that carried bg earlier in the year). No sign of the bg game.

I then proceeded to manually go through the entire FM dial before I finally found the game on 99.1. Only problem is the station didn't come in good enough to be picked up on auto tuner and that proved to make sense. It faded in and out between the game, static, and a music station.

Driving from Toledo to my house. On my street I can see the Doyt and still could barely get 99.1

How the f**k do we expect to have any fans at all when you cannot find a radio station carrying the game within pissing distance of our home arena? And to make matters worse the games aren't even consistently on the same stations as the season goes on! I'm positive I listened to post game on one of the Toledo sports stations earlier in the year and haven't been able to find the games on those stations lately.

Pathetic...

I use the TuneIn Radio App on my phone. Crystal clear Eagle 99.1. You can pause and rewind the feed.

Didn't think about that and would have guessed that the game would be blocked on the app anyhow. I'll have to remember that... Not that I should have to worry about it living in bg, but whatever.

This team have what it takes to go an entire half without a fg? Making a run at it!

Thank you Louis Orr for totally gutting and destroying this program. I hope folks will give Huger time cuz it's gonna take some time to rebuild this mess.

We seem to have absolutely no leadership on the court...is that a fair assessment?

Oh I'll give him time. And I don't think it's entirely fair to blame it all on Louis. Certainly he was god awful but can't let Jans off the hook either. We should be in the second year of his program with a full year freshman class. Instead be had to play grab ass and we got another stunted class.

I think Huger will be a fine coach, but the last thing this program needed after the Orr years was another coaching change.

The nice thing with Huger not seeing immediate success and being an alum I expect him to stabilize the position for awhile.

But no doubt thanks to Orr and Jans this program is a dumpster fire...

The year we brought Orr back for one more season was the dagger. Yeah, I know the university was dealing with other issues then too, but to bring a guy that bad back yet again was crippling to our progress. BG enable this mess to unfold then, and it's dealing with the consequences now.

Probably fair, but a lack of talent is the bigger issue.

Hell the guy that was our best player for the first half of the season now couldn't throw it in the ocean from the beach. Denny went from being one of the best guards in the MAC to one of the worst players on our team.

Yes. Also add in lack of shooting, scoring, ball handing and defending and that about sums it up.

Funny you say that...Denny just missed a layup. Did these guys simply forget how to play? And looking ahead? Buffalo twice, Ohio, Akron and Kent State? This could become very, VERY bad in a hurry.

I literally get a headache every time I watch us play anymore. That's the honest to God truth. After two hours of head-pounding pain, I ask myself why I keep doing this to myself. I'd be better off just head-butting a wall and saving myself the ensuing two hours of misery.
GO BG!!!
