It looks as if BG may be the MACs last shot at OSU this decade. Future Buckeye schedules have no MAC schools lined up.

Blame the playoff system for schools like OSU now avoiding MAC teams. They can be penalized for not playing teams from the conferences most likely to send representatives to the playoffs.
When the playoffs get expanded beyond four teams, I'm sure you'll see this change. But it will probably be a while before that happens.
