Broken pane of glass sends the teams to the locker room with 3:44 left in the first. Gonna replace the glass, make ice, then finish the first period.
This is one of those games where you hope nobody gets hurt.

Ferris scores in first minute of the 2nd period to make it 2-0. BG scores 2 goals within 2 minutes to tie up the game at 2 each.

Michigan Tech scores with :33 left to pull out their victory. BG needs to win to stay tied with Tech. LSSU leading Northern

BG and Tech remain tied. Also LSSU beat Northern. A win or tie tomorrow secures us a top 3 seed

That was a battle. Glad to see the guys didn't give up. The postseason could be fun if they can play entire games like they did the third period. That powerplay goal......that was just pretty.

In over 20 years of watching Falcon hockey I've never seen glass break while at a game. That includes non-Falcon games. Saw it on TV a time or two. Never in person. I've now seen it twice in a month. I've been thinking it's probably time for new boards, but I guess it's time to think about replacing all the glass as well.

With Tech playing Northern next week, a tie or better tonight gives us no worse than the 3rd seed.
