Will Watson back on team

Post by BGSU33 »

I saw John Wagner's tweet that Will Watson is back on the team. I hope he makes the most out of his second chance.

Ummm, ok!? A little stunned by this. Not sure really what to think. I know if I were Kingston and Jinks he will be on a short leash.

I'm okay with him being given another chance. He was involved in a fight. I'm not condoning it, but I'm willing to bet a number of us have been in an altercation or two ourselves. So let it count as two strikes against him and not just one. This was a much different situation than what Houston and Minns were involved with recently. Watson was suspended from the team last year and my guess is he took the steps necessary to try and rejoin the program. That said, he obviously can't afford another mishap. I hope he makes the most out of this.

I'm cool with it as well. He has a great opportunity to make an impact and learn from a mistake.

Don't know the extent of his involvement...don't really care...assuming he didn't rip someone's head off. If he keeps his nose clean and takes care of the academics, who cares?

Will made a mistake. Some might argue that his punishment actually was excessive. He paid for the mistake. He did what he was he was supposed to do. He has tried to stay ready. Now he is back.

Looked pretty good today. Will Watson can add some good depth there. It was good to see him out there. I know he is appreciative of the opportunity.

Go Falcons!
