More effort by the coaches or has Ohio hockey finally reached the point that there are players worth recruiting?

If they're in your back yard and they're a worthwhile get, it's a no brainer.

Hockey is booming down here. Not sure of the numbers, but it has grown like crazy the past five years. The Ohio Capital Conference is well known for producing D-1 athletes in almost every sport, but the Capital Hockey Conference (which is made up mostly of OCC schools, some private schools and Moeller out of Cincinnati) has been growing fast.

Here is a link that tells the history. The schools you see on here, for the most part, are very good in athletics generally, and if they're putting a team on the ice, they are in it to win it -- and are in it for the long haul.
