By my math it looks like we've clinched home ice! If we lose out the worst we could do is fall into a 6th place tie with UAF (assuming they win out..) We beat them head to head giving us the tie breaker!
Way to go Falcons!!

Home Ice!!

Re: Home Ice!!
Better check that math again. If we 'lose out' Miami, MSU and Lake State could all pass us (by winning out)...although that's not likely to happen, it is possible.rc_ziggy84 wrote:By my math it looks like we've clinched home ice! 2 points from MSU this weekend would just about lock it up, 3 would definately to it...hey how 'bout getting 4!

If we take two points from MSU this weekend, we will lock up home ice.
Here is a link to the "What-If" calculator.

By my predictions, we end up tied for fourth with UNO (31 points) and win the tie-breaker (14-12 league wins). If it all holds we would host UAF in the first round.

FALCON HOCKEY IS BACK, BABY!!!!!
Ps. looked at the individual stats thus far and of the top 15 in points, 12 are underclassmen. Lemme say it again.....
FALCON HOCKEY IS BACK!!!!!
I think it is pretty much down to us facing either LSSU or UAF in the first round. I'd rather play UAF because we will be very familiar with them, and they think we "play like a bunch of robots!"
I can't wait to see my first CCHA playoff game in a couple of weeks. It'll be even better AT HOME!!!!!!!!!
Does anyone know how that weekend will coincide with the MAC Tourney in Cleveland? I'm definately picking hockey, but I'm just curious. Wouldn't mind seeing all of both.

The semis for bb are at 7PM and 9PM Friday, and the final is 7PM Saturday.......conflicts with the hockey games at 7 both nights.
Don't bother looking at the BG Athletic site - they still have last year's ticket info letter. The MAC site isn't showing times, either. gundarena.com has the schedule.
