MAC Semifinal: BG vs Akron

BG will beat the Zips 68-64. That was the score in my dream. So far I am 2-0.

Akron will struggle from the field. Lillard will continue his stellar play but Denny lights it up for 16 pts and BG moves into the finals against Ohio

Spencer Parker and Denny or Alcegaire need to step up. We need to get 30 pts from a combination of those three. Worrell and Wiggins 12 total. Joseph and Ali 8. Lillard and Tisdale 16 combined. Play some D and BG will win.

How fitting would it be to make it to the finals by beating 3 teams that we were a combined 0-6 against only to lose in the finals to a team we beat twice in the regular season?

I, OTOH, don't think that's gonna happen because KSU hit that last second 3 at the end of the game to pull within 1. That used up our quota of half court buzzer beaters against for the tournament. So I think we're good.

They think they will win by 20. Can sit their team the second half to rest for the championship game. Calling Lillard lucky and only on a hot streak. All I can say is let's end the streak and shut them up!!

I haven't been this excited for a BG game in a LOOONG time. Wish I could have made it to the Q, but it wasn't in the cards tonight.

Akron always has a good crowd there. As do KSU and Buffalo.

I didn't figure we would draw well considering nobody but the most optimistic fan would have thought we would be playing in this game.
