Game times

The positive side of playing the early game on Friday is having a little more time for rest and recuperation for Saturday's final.

It seems like it would also be an advantage to know the start time of your game in advance. That way, the team can prep and be ready to go at 4:07, rather than some nebulous time after the "end of the first game". There's always a chance it goes into OT or some other delay and you are stuck waiting around.

I won't expect too much or ever count our team out with the way they have played this year, esp. in a win or go home tournament. Show up and play our game and we can hang with anyone, especially in our conference. Take a night off and it can turn into that game vs LSSU at the Joe in '96 or so...

I was at that game at the Joe. And the one against MSU around the same time. Missed the last time at GR and the Joe (UM 2OT) before that due to work. And because I watched 72 minutes of pathetic hockey last weekend, and many games before that, I'm skipping Friday in GR. I'll watch from home or Bdubs, but not making the drive unless they play Saturday.

Huh. That LSSU game was 20 years ago today. What a miserable afternoon.

I think the MSU game was the next season. I was at both, as well. Yuck.
