From the Blade article:
"In Paluch’s first season, he suspended five players for one game for violating team rules and kicked four players off the team for disciplinary reasons."
Who were the players that Pooch dismissed and never suited up for the Falcons again? Did any of them move on to other programs?

To (possibly) answer my own question, a little digging at hockeydb.com reveals that these players from the 2001-2002 Falcons never played after Paluch arrived but appear to have had eligibility remaining:
Denis White
Paul Weismann
Kelsey Muench
These players played just one year (or parts of one year) under Paluch, but again, appear to have had eligibility remaining:
Colen Pappas
Matthew Lynn
Roger Leonard
Kip Horner
Some of the above listed players went on to play with minor league clubs, but none ever played for another D-1 school.
Can anyone confirm or deny my reporting?

I believe Pappas, Lynn, Leonard, and Horner were all dismissed. I think White was the fifth. Weismann followed Brian Hills to Geneseo in D-III.FormerFreddie wrote:To (possibly) answer my own question, a little digging at hockeydb.com reveals that these players from the 2001-2002 Falcons never played after Paluch arrived but appear to have had eligibility remaining:

You're close. Pappas, Lynn, Horner and White were dismissed. Pappas has played professionally, so he has no elligibility. I believe Horner stayed at BGSU, but I am not sure. I have no idea what happened to Lynn or White.pdt1081 wrote:I believe Pappas, Lynn, Leonard, and Horner were all dismissed. I think White was the fifth. Leonard finished the season, then left the team. He finished his degree at BG (graduated in 2004) and now plays in the ECHL (Louisiana Ice Gators last I checked).
Weismann left when he wasn't getting any playing time. He went to SUNY-Geneseo and played for Brian Hills. He was a team captain his senior year (last season).
Kelsey Muench left after playing only two games. He plays somewhere in the ECHL right now (Atlantic City, perhaps?).
