I will take it....with all the question marks we have, it speaks to how BG is the premier program in the East. I am not sold on Ohio...seems they get picked high every year and never produce. And, we own them.

I will say this. IF WMU doesn't get it done this year, they never will. They are my pick in the West and to win the MACC. Obviously I hope I'm wrong on the MACC.

It will be an interesting year. With a new coaching staff, and some big loses (Johnson, Huettel, Lewis, Dieter, ect.) I'm not sure what we have here but Akron has suffered some loses too. We get Ohio on the road but I'm not worried. Miami will be improved with another year under Martin and I'm high on Kent State surprising with their defense.

The west is much tougher. Western looks loaded but Central has a veteran team. Toledo has a lot of talent and NIU is always there. I'm high on CMU.

Western's running game/ play action will be very difficult for MAC defenses...they'll be able to control the clock and slow down some of these hurry up offenses. Defensively they aren't elite, but they are very athletic and will force turnovers. They are setup to have a very nice 3-5 year run similar to what we've enjoyed.

Zach Terrell is good..Cooper Rush is better...probably the best in the MAC. The MAC is often decided by QB play...so I think CMU will win it all

Drew Hare is back for NIU as well. CMU is def a contender.
