No idea...I've picked up my Nike stuff at the team store within the Stroh. You can check some some of the third party vendors out there and see if they carry anything, but if they don't then options are rather limited.

FWIW, i picked a new cap at Meiers last time in town. Nice cap, tho not NIKE. Also had some t shirts etc. ( along w/ stuff from ZERO St, unfortunately). But like most of you really miss SBX and friendly mgr in charge.

Falcon Outfitters is opening in the Union next week. This has taken the place of the 1st floor BG Bookstore.

I would expect a much better selection as they shift the focus more on apparel.

FYI, all books are now being ordered online and delivered to a pickup window at Falcon Outfitters.

You can keep throwing money at anything, but that doesn't mean anything will change.

Do/Will they have a website you can order apparel off of? OR is my only option to actually be on campus to buy the latest Falcon gear?

That's a good question as traditionally the online store from the bookstore has been garbage.

This conversation is exactly why I was so sad to lose SBX, and most OSU/UM/etc fans couldn't understand it. We don't have other options. Meijer/Wal-Mart/etc in BG will carry the cheap crappy gear. Russell athletic or whatever...none of it looks good, none of it lasts. Online presence for BG gear is basically nil. Only SBX and the University store carry any Nike/Under Armour stuff, and the selection at SBX was 5x what the university store offered. I hope like hell that the new Falcon Outfitters deal will be more like what SBX used to be. Of course it's still a PITA being in the middle of campus, but at least it's SOMETHING.

And like you said, I hope they offer an online buying experience that is worthwhile.

The new parking lot behind the union make it a LOT easier to access the union and bookstore now. At least you don't have to park a quarter mile away.

True, but man does that part of campus look shitty now. How many surface lots do we have now? We very well might have more parking lots than any campus in the country. SMH

Good post. SBX is where I almost always went. Best selection IMO. Looking for things now has become much more difficult.

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
