The reason? No more Saturday night home hockey games!! :( I work til 6 in Cleveland M-F. Scream loudly for the Freaks when home ice is clinched!

Plus, I'm saving time for the MACC and Bowl game for football! :D

Maybe we'll make it back sooner for a baseball or softball game.

Speaking of HOME ICE....if/when (can't jinx it!!) we host, you will be able to come to a Saturday game then, won't you???? 8)

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Golfer,

What you may not realize is that MANY of us are from the Cleve., Akron area....and have just as far (or as much time) to get to BG...Get some buddies, maybe also prospective BG students, to go with you...as long as you don't do dumb stuff, you should have a great time at these events. I was up Sat. for the Bball game, alumni pizza party at the Mileti Alum. Ctr., and finished with the Hockey game... wound up staying in BG overnite due to exceptionally long day, but usually do a round trip from Sagamore Hills on Football game days, even when the game is at 6pm and not done till 10 or so.... Home by 12:30/1am.... not too bad for a great day in "Falconland"....Welcome to the forum by the way, from one of its "senior citizens".
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)
