Can't believe no one has noticed that the November 15th game vs Cincinnati is the same night that we host Kent State in football.

I'm sure people have noticed, but I'm surprised no one has commented on that. I imagine it will be an afternoon game, which might or might not make for a nice doubleheader day -- watch some hoops, go across the street for dinner, then head to Perry Stadium.

I think the reason bgsurick brought this up is because that day is a Tuesday. I don't see them have an afternoon basketball game on a Tuesday in November

I can't believe no one has mentioned the fact that there are 3 non-Division 1 schools on the schedule, not counting the exhibition game.

It's a feast or famine nonconference schedule.

I bet they do, unless Cincinnati is willing to move the game to a different day. There's no way they play the women's basketball game at the same time as the football game. My money would be on a late morning or early afternoon game, if I had any money.

4,000 for the women's game and 12,000 for the football game maximum. Outside of using the same personnel to run both events what is the issue. Get a few extra bodies out to collect parking fees and better direction of traffic so basketball fans are filling every available spot next to the arena and put more people in the grass at the stadium. Rain leading up to the this date is the only thing that messes it up.

4,000 for the Women's game. Maybe 1200 for the Women's game and 4,000 for the football game.

Worst case scenario that I think proves it can be done except it upsets those who want to attend both. The football has 6 and 7 as possible start times. If 7 the women can tip at 5 or if at 6 the women could tip at 9.

You said it yourself. The issue is that they don't have enough personnel to run both events at the same time. Plus, the athletic dept will not want to alienate the fans that would like to attend both. I would bet my life savings that the basketball game will have a late morning or early afternoon tipoff, unless they move it to a different day. There's no way the hoops and football games overlap. My guess is they start the hoops game at noon, or maybe even earlier.

That is possible. I remember a few years back when the women played a game in front of area school kids. What great exposure to those students. I don't mind that kind of community outreach at all.
