Other games in 2018 include one at Oregon and one at home with Maryland.
It would appear that Bowling Green is starting to change its scheduling philosophy by putting more P5 road trips on the schedule. But do others disagree?

Well I read earlier today where the Big 12 was talking to Northern Illinois about joining the conference. Maybe if BG continue to play the power conferences they will switch conference too.

Based on our 23,724 seat stadium with inadequate concessions I think BGSU is stuck in the MACgmartin wrote:Well I read earlier today where the Big 12 was talking to Northern Illinois about joining the conference. Maybe if BG continue to play the power conferences they will switch conference too.

That is a tough sked for 2018....Next Yr we host S Dakota and then hit the road to Michigan State, Northwestern and MTSU.

I really dislike this game being added for a couple reasons. One, that now makes three non-conference games vs Power 5 teams in the same year again. Two, this one runs the option (huge gulp). We couldn't prepare for a non-Power 5 team with extra bowl practices leading up to a neutral site game last year. How on earth are we going do it on a normal week having to travel while also being on the road? In hindsight, I admit, last year worked out well. And yes, it was fun. But I still don't like it going forward. One Power 5 team is a pretty much a must and a given. Two Power 5 teams I can live with. Three Power 5 games....well you damn well better win one of them.
GO BG!!!
