Jacob Bennett's knee injury

Post by BGSU33 »

Anyone know what the diagnosis was on his knee injury? Hopefully he's not lost for the season. Last I read he's was ruled out for the foreseeable future while they waited to see what the severity of the knee injury was.

I imagine more information will be made available after the scrimmage and season ticket holder event this weekend. Access to camp this year has been somewhat more restrictive than in years past.

Do you move Ben Steward outside and start Clancy because that tandem is more experienced...or do you roll with the massive, but inexperienced Ware at tackle?
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Move Steward outside due to his experience.

Keep us posted if you hear anything. Crossing my fingers big time that it was only a sprain and not a tear of one of the major ligaments.

Here's an article about Bennett being out and how the OL is being shuffled, but it fails to mention exactly what the injury is.

I was told Bennett is going to seek a second opinion early next week on his knee injury. Doesn't sound too promising for him.

Definitely sucks. Hoping JB will be back in time for MAC play, at the least. With very little info coming out, it's difficult to say.
