Hobey Baker Voting!!

Post by factman »

I received an email from the alumni association urging all of us to vote for Siggy. I know that most of us on this board are voting regularly, but the email must be helping, because I noticed after voting today that Jordan has gained about 2000 votes on the leader is is only 8000 votes down this morning.
VOTE! VOTE!! VOTE!!!

I noticed the jump this morning too! Now if only there were a way for us to be able to get all of the students on campus to vote - even just ONE time... that would create a huge difference... :D

I also received one last evening too. Jonathan is currently back in 10th. Maybe in large part, because of this alumni email.

It definitely has made a difference. Sunday night when I last voted Jordan was 1200+ votes down, and now he's less than 800 back.

Keep up the good work Falcons! :D

VOTE FOR JORDAN

Post by Falcon Fanatic »

There was also a girl at the arena this weekend passing out flyers to remind people to vote for Jordan. She had a big sign with her and was passing out candy too. I am sure this helped as well!!!

VOTE FOR JORDAN!!!

GO ICERS!!
SWEEP THE GREEN MEANIES!!!
GGGWGSAE!!!!

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

You will all slay me for not thinking about this earlier, but anytime I lay out the sports pages at the newspaper and we have blank space, production always puts in 'filler' that is either check out BGNews.com or some random fact. They encourage us to make our own so maybe I should start putting Vote Siggy for Hobey in there instead. This isn't a guaranteed thing because there always isn't extra space but I could accidentally leave extra space :D

Jonathan is up to 9th place. Do you suppose a lot of people are voting for Little Siggy rather than Big Siggy???

I know we've been focused a lot on the Siggy Brothers... but has anyone noticed how much Matsumoto has been moving up?? He was around 70th a couple days ago... today when I checked he was sitting comfortable in 51st... that's quite a jump!!!

Unger is around 23rd, an upward move from where he was.

Alumni have been contributing but I think the games this weekend had a lot to do to open other peoples eyes as well b/c all the guys have been advancing :-D That makes me happy! (Not as happy as I would be if Jordan were in 1st place... but pretty close :))

There has been a serious effort by this one girl to get people to vote. I see fliers in the Sundial on all the tables, with sheets of paper to take to vote with all the info. And she just started walking around my dorm handing out sheets of paper with Vote For Hobey on it, to everyone on all floors. I think that may be having an effect as well
Not to be confused with Poptartin
