Dakich talked about this on the radio show as well. He even said that Dr. LaPorte said that Germain may not have had the ligament all season and that the celebration incident was truly just a bone bruise.

"He can't hurt his knee any more because there's no ligament there," Dakich said

I say when he does get ready enough to play, we keep him in the locker room till later in the game then trot him out ala a certain New York Knickerbocker.

FWIW, I think it would be more like Boobie Miles from Friday Night Lights.

I was thinking he could come out WWF-style-

"Oh my God, that's Germain Fitch's music!"

If he came out to the Ultimate Warrior theme, that would be the best.

No no...Macho Man's theme with Fitch instead of Mach would be much better!

It would be nice if Fitch could some how play a little in these last few games left , especially if he can't really hurt it anymore. The main thing with Fitch will be the pain if any.

Good thing we've already played UT. I could see Jopin distracting Fitch while Triplett hits him with a chair...
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Maybe he could lurk up in the rafters (on top of the scoreboard) until the last 2 minutes of the game and then make the save (ala Sting in the last days of WCW)

What would be really cool is if he came out dressed like Elvis ala the Honkey Tonk Man (the greatest gimmick of all time) and smack someone with a guitar. Then, Dakich could imitate Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and look shocked, steal the ball and run out of Anderson.
