In case you missed it, the officials in the Oklahoma State vs Central Michigan game were MAC officials. They have admitted to the Big 12 Conference, as well as Oklahoma State coach that they messed up the last call of the game. The game should have been over and Oklahoma State declared the winner.

Georgia was sweating it out. Nichols State almost beat #9 Georgia. Nichols has lost 67 straight games to FBS school. Last year they snapped a 23 game losing streak in FCS. But I agree, we should win this by AT LEAST 21 points.

We certainly look like a poorly coached team...I'm all for playing fast, but there needs to be some fundamentals and execution. We look like a bunch of elementary students playing football at recess.

Side note: Not a lot of revenue being brought in by our #1 "revenue" sport here at BG.

He's what 3 or 4 years removed from coaching high school football. He was a position coach at a mediocre Big 12 school. For that he gets handed the keys to a team that has won 2 out of the last 3 MACC. Highly questionable hire.

Nearly 3 hours to play 3 quarters, what's fast about this game?
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

Sure, there are countless examples of 1AA schools playing 1A teams tough, and even beating them. The dregs of the MAC routinely lose these games.

My point, and I think you agree, is that in nearly every single instance letting these games stay close (or heaven forbid LOSING them) is an indication something is severely wrong with the program.

I knew we wouldn't be as good as advertised this year; we're not capable of just reloading after a mass exodus of talent/production that we had after last season. I knew we'd get pummeled by OSU, they're in a different world than us right now. But those things are NOT an excuse to play a close game against the likes of ND. If you're even remotely well coached you should roll in these games. These games should be the confidence builders for the young talent to build upon.

Yeah, I know I sound like a Buckeye fan, but the reality is if BG is where it should be (regardless of team experience level) these games should never be competitive.

For those of you not at the game, there is very little coaching going on during the game. Almost all the coaches are standing on the sideline with there arms folded just like the rest of us. I'm sitting with a group of HS coaches and they all agree.
Very sad

3rd and 20 with them backed up deep and you give it up. That's absolutely pathetic.

And BG is more talented. They were running circles around them in the first quarter. Difference is UND made adjustments and BG seems incapable of doing that.

All I know is our defense stinks except for a few players. Special teams stink. Offense can't sustain drives. An FCS team so far has put 20 pts on us. What will Toledo, CMU and WMU do against us. I don't even want to think about it. Tulsa defense only gave up 6 pts to the Buckeyes today in 1st half. Makes our defense look even worse. We sure have lots of things to work on.
