Pull Knapke...he's a mess
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
Re: BG vs MTSU thread
Knapke is terrible. I have no idea of Morgan is good or even better.
But I know knapke sucks hard and we will struggle to win 6 games with him.

I've been a fan of the guy, but I'm not sure how you can start Knapke in the 2nd half.

Bad bad football. Wasn't impressed with Jinks hire. He is a high school coach and high school level assistants.
Be curious to see what our new A.D does. Jinks wasn't his hire.

He'll do exactly what he must do. Ride him til his contract expires and hope he gets better In time.gmartin wrote:Bad bad football. Wasn't impressed with Jinks hire. He is a high school coach and high school level assistants.

We won't buy out a coach
Re: BG vs MTSU thread
As we know from 2014, Knapke gets worse as the temperature drops. Unless Jinks wants his own QB in next year, make the change. The season could be lost either way.

Re: BG vs MTSU thread
I think the other guys are playing well but without an accurate QB who can't stretch the field we got no shot... James and Moore two seniors have really cost this team. We have seen seasons turned around when replacing a QB see JH5 and Matt Johnson

Not a fair assessment...he was a college coach..not a HC...but a college coach before coming here. No problem with being critical of his coaching...but let's not distortgmartin wrote:Bad bad football. Wasn't impressed with Jinks hire. He is a high school coach and high school level assistants.

Back to the targeting rule. The new rule or emphasis is shoulders and above. If the guy doesn't have the ball they're going to call that every time. The BG defender did raise up on the hit. You just can't do it. The guys are going to have to learn to alter their play going forward.
PS: For the love of all things Holy, please bench Knapke!!! If he starts the second, I'm done with this game!

Game turns on a bone headed fumble by a bone head player.
The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.
Re: BG vs MTSU thread
The passing offense is a complete mess. And it all starts at QB. Yes I know the weather has been an issue but they have more than doubled us up through the air and have been going downfield. Knapke looks competely afraid and unsure to even look downfield. Further, who's gonna catch it if he does throw it. Our passing game is nothing more than an extension of the running game. And of the 21 points scored, our defense was mainly responsible for 14 of them.
GO BG!!!
