If you can't pass, it gives you more run plays. Do it.hammb wrote:As I said earlier. IF you're going to continue to play Knapke you MUST take shots downfield at least occasionally. At this point they're basically just daring us to do that.
And I have no idea why our top 2 RBs weren't on the field for 4 straight downs...mind boggling...

I could be wrong, but it looked like Moore was barking at Knapke out of frustration.MarkL wrote:BTW any way to pull Knapke for Ronnie Moore and play wildcat all day?
GO BG!!!

Are you watching this? The field is literally lifting off the ground.BGSU33 wrote:For those natural grass lovers for football fields, can you imagine if we had grass right now? The field would be toast for the season in week 3.
Re: BG vs MTSU thread
Oh my .... they might actually have to call this game now for an unplayable field. There is a lake under the field.

Or set up like the service academies in their run heavy formations.hammb wrote:As I said earlier. Say what you want but this team has a lot of heart. They are not quitting at all.
Re: BG vs MTSU thread
I know there has been a lot of rain, but that field shouldn't be puddling to that effect...the bubbling definitely shouldn't be happening.MarkL wrote:Oh my .... they might actually have to call this game now for an unplayable field. There is a lake under the field.
Re: BG vs MTSU thread
If the representatives of FieldTurf (the company we first use on the turf and didn't used again), they're gonna have a field day!
GO BG!!!
Re: BG vs MTSU thread
I agree. We went cheap and didn't go back to FieldTurf (the brand). You get what you pay for.apollo wrote:I know there has been a lot of rain, but that field shouldn't be puddling to that effect...the bubbling definitely shouldn't be happening.MarkL wrote:Oh my .... they might actually have to call this game now for an unplayable field. Absolutely not quitting. Playing tough, really for most of the game.Schadenfreude wrote:Say what you want but this team has a lot of heart. They are not quitting at all.
Some questionable tactical coaching calls, but the kids are playing hard...in a monsoon.
These are the type of games where it's really difficult to draw any long term conclusions about players or coaches...all bets are off in this sort of weather.
