McPhee and Holzinger to return to BG!!

Post by Falcon Fanatic »

George McPhee and Brian Holzinger will return to BG on Senior Night, March 4th to be recognized for their Hobey Baker wins. Both will be presented with Hobey Baker Memorial rings at the first intermission!! How cool will that be??? :supz:

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

VERY cool. I was just wondering if more NHL alumni would be making return visits around playoff time with the NHL season officially off for the year.

Maybe I could come to that game witha copy of my resume and happen to slip it to Mr. VP/GM of hte Washington Caps while in the Center Ice lounge. . .

There must be openings in front offices, right? I mean they had to have laid off most of the public relations/media people with the strike, right?

But they're not hiring much right now, either...

Any talk of an autograph session?? I am a huge Sabres fan, or at least I was before the league went AWOL. I would do nearly anything for a Holzinger autograph.

All you would need to do is ask him. He would be more than happy to give you an autograph and/or pose for a picture. He's a really great guy!!
