Sounds about right. Until this team proves otherwise, they'll likely be an underdog in just about every game the rest of the way.

Indeed. Hard to disagree with nothing more than a blowout loss at this point, especially with the offense struggling. Best case scenario is that it forces Jinks' hand to start Morgan against EMU.cameron wrote:Sounds about right. It's almost textbook...starter faces tough foe on the road and gets yanked when game is out of reach. Back up comes in for mop up duty and moves the team so back up gets the start the following week.
Perfect scenario unless the real issue is the game plan...aren't going to change that in October

As long as the game plan isn't zone left and zone right the rest of the season...Flipper wrote:It's almost textbook...starter faces tough foe on the road and gets yanked when game is out of reach. Back up comes in for mop up duty and moves the team so back up gets the start the following week.

Flipper's right...you'll probably see Morgan in the second half if/when the game is out of hand. All that matters is MAC play at this point. BG is a bad team right now...if you don't have solid QB play you can't win many games. Morgan may provide a little spark, but I think decent teams are going to overwhelm us. Both in talent and coaching.
