BG has been playing football since the year 1919, which was nearly 100 years ago (97 years). In the last century, BG has played nearly 1,000 football games in its history during that span. In this season alone, BG has lost not once, but twice already by the largest margin of defeat ever in school history! Think about that for a second. That's nearly 1,000 games played over nearly 100 years of time, and in 2 of our 4 games this season, we've suffered the two worst losses ever in school history. It's incredible. You could almost excuse the loss to OSU when it happened as they're one of the best teams in the nation and we're one of the worst. But to turn around three weeks later and have it topped by Memphis? It's almost hard to comprehend.
