This game is awful.
The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.
Re: Game Thread: BG vs EMU. Do we need a thread
Will Jinks make his first career adjustment or will EMU run away with it?

That's 90 min I won't get back.
Well I have attended, watched on TV or Internet, or back in the 90s listened to the radio with Dave Horger EVERY single game since 1988. Over 315 straight games I have watched, attended or followed team on radio. I had planned my dates around Falcon football. Missed parties, weddings, etc due to Falcon football. 28 straight years, haven't missed a game but I think that may come to an end SOON. This product is painful to watch. This was the first homecoming I have missed in 28 years and I'm only 4 hours away. Wasn't a fan of this hire and I haven't changed my mind. The product on the field speaks for itself.

Is this a rhetorical question?kdog27 wrote:Will Jinks make his first career adjustment or will EMU run away with it?

I'm fine with the game. Watching with my dad (class of 68) and my young boys (2 & 4) it's been great to see BGSU on our tv.
As for the football as is concerned we're making strides with a young QB. Has it been all roses and Spot's waffle fries? No, but I think we've answered some questions. My expectations have been tempered but I still find this 100x more interesting than NFL football.

I will never understand this sentiment. I find the NFL product is a million times better than college football. Other than casually watching bg games the only reason I see college is worth watching is to play draftnik...Dayons_Den wrote:. Hell the browns are suppisedly ranking and supposed to be the worst team in NFL history and are still vastly more competitive than bg has been this year.
To each their own, but I will never understand how people diss the NFL while trying to praise the shitshow that has become college football .

Moving the ball down the field well. Then they start throwing low percentage passes for these receivers.

Because the NFL is predictable. So much so that Vegas is rarely wrong. BG may lose one week but the 18-23 year old kids could bounce back the following week. Guys playing for their school rather than a paycheck is just more interesting to me. Also the fact that my NFL team moved away when I was 16 and returned when I was out of state and has been garbage since their return also contributes to my blind loyalty to college football and specifically BGSU.hammb wrote:I will never understand this sentiment. 1-4 looking like a staunch reality.
The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.

And darn lucky it's not 0-5. If we can't beat EMU, I don't see how we will win any the rest of the way.
