Season Tickets
Season Tickets
Season tickets slowly making their way to the hinterlands. Mine are now (10/2) in Cleveland after a week's vacation in Detroit, then Pontiac. Original delivery date per USPS was Sept 17.

Re: Season Tickets
Quite a few people did not get their tickets, apparently!
Maybe you'll get them in time for the Ohio State game.....or maybe not....
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Re: Season Tickets
Hardly a surprise...when I went to get my will call tickets for football this past weekend there were two couples who still hadn't received this season tickets and needed them printed off at the booth.Falcon Fanatic wrote:Quite a few people did not get their tickets, apparently!![]()

The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.
Re: Season Tickets
This is what happens when all of NWO mail has to go to Detroit for sorting now instead of Toledo.
Re: Season Tickets
yes, it's now 300+ miles from BG to Tiffin.BGFan wrote:This is what happens when all of NWO mail has to go to Detroit for sorting now instead of Toledo.

Re: Season Tickets
I sent my basketball season application in 3-4 weeks ago, and they still haven't received it either.

Mine arrived today.
Re: Season Tickets
Turning lemons in to lemonade.
On Friday Sept 30 I realized that I had not yet received my hockey season tickets. Not sure why I hadn't noticed it before then...I guess the season sort of snuck up on me. I called the ticket office, spoke with a young man named Jesse. He was great!
He apologized, explained that my package was mailed on Sept 15, but (apparently along with many others) was hung up in the USPS sorting center in Detroit. They had gotten calls from lots of others looking for the tickets, and have been in daily contact with USPS, but not getting any results.
He confirmed my e-mail address, asked if I had capability to print them and told me he'd e-mail my tickets for the Windsor game right away. That e-mail arrived while we were still on the phone. He saw that I had bought a parking pass, and told me that he'd put my name "on the list" for parking.
He gave me the USPS tracking number for my package, and told me that they could re-print all my tickets at the ice arena box office when I came to Saturday's game...I decided not to do that, as I was sure the original package would arrive before the next game.
I had no trouble getting past the parking attendant, she was aware that there was a "list" and passed me straight through.
My original ticket package arrived on Tuesday Oct 4.
I think they did a fantastic job at dealing with a bad situation.

Du hockey comme dans le temps!
Re: Season Tickets
That's my ticket story, too, and I'm happy with the result. What the ticket office could have done better is to contact ticket holders when the problem first became known, rather than waiting for us to call.Freddie wrote: I think they did a fantastic job at dealing with a bad situation.
