Western Michigan #25

Western Michigan is ranked #25 and deservedly so. They should be favored in every game remaining with the only possible exception Toledo. If WMU runs the table and wins the MACC they could get a New Year's bowl game.

I DVR'ed their game at CMU and man do they look GOOD. I think they'll win out...they are simply loaded. Fleck is probably coaching his final season in Kzoo. Nice to see them ranked.

....and he was 1-11 his first year, recruited very well and Yes will probably be gone. Maybe there is hope for our lowly Falcons and their fledgling staff.

And plenty of WMU fans were calling for Fleck's head when they went 1-11. Sports fans are the worst.

Clearly they didn't have both oars in the water.

I really hope WMU wins out and runs the table. All that talent they've been building the last several years with those recruiting classes has finally come around and they have quality, talented depth now too. WMU hasn't won a MAC Championship since 1988, which was a little surprising to me considering they had some pretty good teams during that stretch. Unfortunately for WMU, they had to play the MACC vs Marshall in 1999 and 2000 at Marshall before the MACC had a true neutral site. WMU is carrying the MAC banner this year and I'm pulling for them the rest of the way. I'd love to see WMU win the MACC for Fleck and have him land a prime job.

Fleck is a choade, but his methods have obviously been successful. You have to give him credit for turning around that program from where it was when he took over. I'll pull for them the rest of the way so 1. they can carry the banner for the conference as the only team that's nationally ranked and 2. if they don't win it, then that would mean the Rockettes do.
