Definitely true. I remain very excited about Huger as a recruiter even though I am a bit perplexed by not filling out the roster. I'm hopeful there are a couple 6-11 monsters running around campus who decided not to play HS ball because they hated their HS coaches but are ready to dominate in college. Can you search the BG student directory by height?Flipper wrote:Maybe...but I'm thinking he's more a 2 that can play 3. I'm thinking of more of a Parker type since we only have Uju for a couple of years. It's the MAC though...you can win a lot of games here with a collection of 6-5" basketball players...just get a guy that can play

Facebook, twitter and Instagram stalk the taller female athletes to see if they're dating any tall guys.

Since the days of Cole Magner and Keon Newsome I get irrationally excited about these things.JohnFloyd4Life wrote:I'm sure our punter Joe Davidson played bball for Findlay in HS, he's 6'7" sign him up
Zach Sharpe is 6-8 330. Can he ball?
On a more realistic note
Logan Dietz 6-6 303
Ben Steward 6-6 303
Jacob Bennet 6-5 337
Are all seniors. What a fun way to end your time at BG and play hoops for a semester. Can any of them hoop?

Volleyball player Erica Fullenkamp did it a few days after I suggested that very thing on this board (not that I'm claiming a correlation...but still..).
C'mon Logan Dietz...give it a shot.

lol a 6'7" 230 lber who can run might be more useful than a 6'6" 300 lber. I googled Davidson, he was all conference at Findlay, sign him up.

Davidson won't play...he's an NFL prospect who doesn't need to risk the inj. A guy like Dietz is a rock you can put in the middle for a spell to clog things defensively and his 5 fouls could really hurt

Antwan Walker to Georgetown.
We still have 5 offers out there for this year reportedly and 1 schollie to go. Hopefully actually none with an appeal to the NCAA for Denny.

Yes, and an indication of your cis-gendered heteronormative white male privilege within the patriarchal campus rape culture.

Why did the chicken cross the road? To get away from the cisgendered heteronormative white male enforcing patriarchal oppression by telling her she can't be a rooster.

Huger sounds really optimistic on this class. I like the two bigs. Keep up the good work. Forward Falcons!

Re: 2017-2018 Recruiting.
I'm excited about that class as well. A legit BIG dude (although I hope to see some increased production in his senior year). Another highly productive 6'9 forward to rotate with Uju & Worrell. Another quick guard who can score. And another athletic wing, which we'll need losing Alcegaire.
Adding these guys to a core that I expect to be Wiggins, Lillard, Worrell, Caldwell, & Turner should be a very good thing.
We're going to struggle with front court depth this season, but adding 2 legit front court guys next year while returning all 3 of this year's front court guys should be a step in the right direction.
I would like to see us look at the 6-2, 6-3 type pure scoring guards, but it seems Huger prefers the smaller types that can pass/distribute as well as score. I'm fine with that as long as those smaller guys actually CAN score at the next level. That can be a tall task (pun not intended) for guys with a height disadvantage at the SG spot.

I love Huger and have loved all three classes. My only complaint would be I want more.

I'm surprised I don't see Frye on that list. He was the one I liked most of the new guys vids. I have yet to see him play though.hammb wrote:I'm excited about that class as well.
