....as I was saying.

I don't see this team winning another game this year.

1-7. Only win was by 1 point to an FCS school.

Wonder what the attendance over/under will be at our next game. A midweek November game. I say 3500 people in the stands.

Nice turnover. Time to show some character and finish playing hard and well.

Most emotion shown the entire game was Will Watson chewing out the defense early in the 3rd. Even got an applause from the fans.

Dunno what else to say. Poorly coached team and areas where talent is deficient. Hopefully the next four weeks go quickly.

Kent State should have beat Ohio today. We are not going to beat Akron. We are not going to win in DeKalb. The only FBS game we may win this year is Buffalo.

And I'm even being optimistic against Buffalo.

We may as well tank the rest of the season so we get a high draft pick. Oh wait, wrong league.

This isn't what I expected today, and I do think next week now looks tougher as well. But they'll get a win or two, I think.

They made some mistakes out there, and I wouldn't lay it all on coaching. Jinks didn't block that kid in the back, taking away our kickoff return for a touchdown. Jinks didn't drop (and then fail to go after) that backward pass that cost us a safety.

Tough day at the ballpark, without a doubt.

In the second quarter I told my wife we were going to lose because almost all the BG players on the sidelines were hiding under winter parkas like it was 20 degrees and snowing or something. Players more worried about staying warm than getting in the game is not a good thing.

I won't lay today it all on coaching either but it has been a factor all season. You can't go from crown to clown in less than 12 months. The coaching staff slipped on the learning curve today. I hope they continue to progress.

By the time I made it home to put the game on TV we were going down by a second TD with less than 10 mins to go.

Running around various errands and spending time with the family I did have the game on the radio for a good portion of it, of course I was in and out. Gibby and Walker were pretty hard on the team repeatedly saying how the team showed no emotion or urgency throughout the entire game. At one time Walker called the game a "comedy of errors by bg, but nobody's laughing."

TD called back, dropped swing pass becomes a safety, etc... This team is not physically, nor mentally, strong enough to overcome those sorts of things.

I was surprised to hear how hard on the team the radio guys were. Of course Miami is terrible so to play them close, and end up losing by 2 TDs isn't a real to going endorsement of the team. The guys did say they didn't play anywhere near the standard they set last week. That's probably the most disappointing thing.

The team was dead on the sidelines. Coaches didn't bother getting involved to correct mistakes or get guys fired up. On top of that there were no adjustments made, too many ill-timed penalties again and honestly just an apathetic feel to the team. It's obvious everyone has checked out for the season and the fans aren't far behind.
