Nice to see us connect on a deep ball. We haven't had many of those.

How many Babers recruits are playing on defense? I cannot think of many ...

That dropped TD by Redding was Joplin-esque.

Quick halftime thoughts ...
- Morgan has made one mistake. Other than that he has looked good. He has calmed down. We are going to have some good years with him I think.
- Receivers are not helping him much. Redding has dropped some, including a TD. This could be a one possession game.
- Defense. Yeah. Bad mix of small size and little depth. I can't even decide if they are being coordinated poorly or if they just are not up to snuff physically.
- This is the type of game NIU wants to play. They are running with ease which sets up the explosive play. We have to disrupt that running game.
- We have a great punter. We may have a good kicker in Suder but we'll never know as long as the line cannot stop the rush.
- A big turnover in the second half would change this game around. Our offense can play with these guys. We need the defense to hold up their end of the bargain.

If nothing else this season provided us with some hilarious miscues. Such a poorly coached team.

NIU currently has 36 rushes for 216 yards, average of 6.0. That stat tells the whole game.
