4-1 FINAL. Big third period when it was desperately needed.

Could barely tell who was who on the ice (video was shot from too far away) and definitely could not tell who anyone was in the stands. Terrible video/audio, as it kept stuttering and had occasional buffering. For an arena that hosts a semi pro team, I would have expected MUCH higher quality video and audio. :?

Sweep 'em, boys!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

BG currently in 5th place but only 4 pts out if 3rd place with 3 games in hand. That's 9 possible points out there. We win 2 of them 3 games BG vaults into 3rd place. Bemidji is on fire. For those you said they will come back to the pack they are looking pretty good so far.

Bemidji will come back to the pack...never said we'd catch them, just that I don't think they'll win the conference. It's really tough to predict because the conference is so bad. Literally Atlantic Hockey may jump the WCHA in conference rpi. There's going to be a lot of sweeps of the bottom half teams, so there will be some weekends that are tough to make up ground.

Easiest way to see where the team actually (potentially) is in the standings when teams have games in hand is to look at the loss column.

That's why I said catching Bemidji would be tough. We have 3 losses they have 0.

Midway through the third, BG leads 4-3. Some rather selective officiating factoring in.

A 6 goal third period leads to an 8-3 BG win. McLain with the hatrick tonight.

BG plays next weekend where Minnesota State does not. Get to play our 2 games in hand against them. This time next week we should be in 3rd place.

This is a scary weekend coming up. BG has won 4 straight, and 5 of the last 6. UAA has no wins, but pushed Tech this past weekend, losing a 1 goal game before winning a shootout the next night. Cannot get too overconfident.
