College Game Day to K-ZOO

Post by ZuluWarrior »

Good on them. Good for the MAC. I've always believed that if Urban and possibly Clawson had given the time and we would have given them the money that PJ gets a WMU we would have made a New Year's Day bowl. Happy to see a MAC school making it happen and kudos to ESPN for giving the MAC another Gameday.

Haha...it's amazing the selective memory some people have regarding Clawson.

Not sure what selective memory you're referring to. Clawson's track record of rebuilding programs is pretty well known. Would be interesting to see if a school ( or Dave) would keep together for more than 5 yrs. or so.
As it is he's got WF into bowl eligibility already... And in a tough conference. A good guy and a solid coach.

So if we were to have GameDay again, who do you think they would get to be the guest picker?

+1,000,000..... ranks up there with Urban Meyer for favorite Falcon coaches in my 35+ years following BG

What is a guest picker?
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

At the end of GameDay they have on a celebrity guest to pick the winners of the big games. It is typically an alum or someone famous from the area.
