Any chance we'll see some vintage "LT" logo merchandise at some point?

I do not work at Falcon Outfitters but I have seen a rack with 1-2 "LT" logo shirts. They do exist!

I love LT logo and I think it's beautiful.

It was one of more unique logos in all of college football...and it was fun explaining what that logo was since a lot of people somehow had trouble figuring out it was a bird.

It's even more perfect considering BGSU has an amazing Visual Communications department (best in the MAC, and maybe one of the best in the country) and that logo is excellent representation of the post-70's graphic design trends that were happening around the time it was implemented.

I have found the original "LT" .eps file and I've thought about getting a few shirts printed out through uberprints since it's really tough to find gear with that logo on it. Such a sad day when the AD decided to get rid of it.

LT was dated...it was time to say goodbye. OTOH...I can certainly see the value in a few items that feature it strictly for nostalgia's sake

I will always love the old logo! It took awhile, but I do like the new logo too. But any time I can get something with the old LT logo on it, I will get! :partyman: :supz: \:D/
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

That logo is just awful. Of course, they didn't have the option of using anything with any kind of native American symbolism that would set off protests marches and media frenzies.

I liked the LT logo and hated to see it go. I don't see it as dated, just classic. If it needed to go because it was dated, then so does a bunch of other university athletic logos that have been around since before that one came into existence. I still have drawers full of that stuff and will keep wearing it until it turns to rags. Always on the look out to scoop up any of that merchandise that may still be floating around.

That CMU logo is horrendous. I like those little lines running off of it...like it's moving. Those were really big awhile ago...like some graphic artist toured the country selling pointless "motion lines" to teams like Harold Hill in The Music Man.

Maybe they should have just thrown a few lines off the back end of LT...

The new Falcon Outfitters online store is indeed now online. If you would, though, we'd love for you to go to BGSUFalcons.com and access the new online store through the "Store" tab on the main navigation. That way, a portion of the proceeds of your purchases goes directly to the athletics department.

Thanks!

The CMU fanbase is so apathetic I don't think anyone would care.
