Did we LOSE to OU? Watched most of the AKR-OU game and NEITHER team looked bowl worthy. Makes you wonder if Jinks and crew went to a run based off. Earlier we might have been in the mix, though Miami, the SHOCK team in the MAC, might've still beaten us out.

In the meantime MACTION didn't deliver much ACTION tonite in this game.

BG had a lot of close losses early on to teams who ended up bowl eligible. I think if we look back, we see that this program still isn't too far away from contending next season. The league ended up being topsy turvy this season...Miami and EMU get bowl eligible while BG and NIU finish with losing seasons. But yes, it was a down year across the board save for Toledo and Western Michigan.

6 to Ohio (8-4)
3 to EMU (7-5)
7 to Toledo (9-2, one game pending)

A couple plays either way and BG could be playing for their 6th win on Friday.

Ohio beat Toledo...and we almost beat Toledo.

Bottom line, it's just the MAC. We need to stop trying to figure it out and just accept it.

Actually, i somehow didnt include the word HOW at start of question. How did we lose to OU was way it was supposed to read. Guess that part in thread title may have confused folks (including me)
