Looking like another loss where we had chances to win the game late and couldn't make the plays until we found ourself down a couple possessions. Hit some big 3s in those situations, but lost the game when we gave up a ridiculously bad 3 point play on a breakaway by their best player. A player who we played really good defense on for most of the 2nd half after getting destroyed in the 1st.
This team just cannot seem to figure out how to win, nor put together 2 good halves of basketball.
Caldwell hit some big time shots in the 2nd half. He really looks to have some talent if they can get him playing within himself.
Lillard hit some big 3s and damned near hit the game tying shot at the buzzer, but we MUST get him to be more aggressive. I don't know why he just continues to disappear for LOOONG stretches.
Wiggins had a pretty good 1st half, but wasn't as effective in the 2nd half.
This team has some talent, but the talent they have is just too inexperienced, it seems. We need to see some development from Wiggins, Lillard, Frye, and Caldwell. Our upper classmen are decent pieces but if you're counting on Denny/Alcegaire/Ali to carry the scoring load you won't be winning in the MAC. They're just not the sort of seniors you see carrying good teams in our league.

Ish Ali from the Murray St game (12-3-5a)
Lillard from the UMKC game (19-3-3a)
Alcegaire from the Oakland game (19-3)
,,,,ever together on the same night. Just 2 or 3.
They never seem to have more than 1 guy put it together on a given night.
