Re: @Fairbanks
BG controlled the play in the first period,Chris let the puck go by. Downhill the rest of the game.
Temp warmed up to zero.
A place called the Ice Palace burned completely this morning. Smoke smell permeating the city.

All is for the best in this best of all possible worlds.
Re: @Fairbanks
But according to Apollo this was going to be a snooze fest and BG would sweep. What do you foresee in the NFL this week Apollo. Whatever you predict I'm going opposite.
Re: @Fairbanks
I would have pulled him after the third goal, if not the second. About the only person further behind the puck was the camera guy.bgbill wrote:BG controlled the play in the first period,Chris let the puck go by. Downhill the rest of the game.

I don't know what's going on with this team, but there's something majorly wrong that needs to be fixed. This team is a whole lot better than the results on the ice.

Maybe you should talk to Bergeron?gmartin wrote:But according to Apollo this was going to be a snooze fest and BG would sweep. What do you foresee in the NFL this week Apollo. Whatever you predict I'm going opposite.
There's always some difficulties with the Alaska travel, but this should've been 6 points. Apparently we aren't any good....or maybe playing that powerhouse filled 52nd ranked schedule took a lot out of us in the first half.
It's one thing to have a down year despite the high expectations...problem is this program never has the good year that almost every other college hockey program in the country has. Win something...then the program might start getting some respect.

Re: @Fairbanks
Who is #13 for BG? Was as dominant a fight as I think I've ever seen. How many guys will be benched tonite as a result?

Re: @Fairbanks
Nice goal from McDonald. Would have been nicer if they filmed it.
Re: @Fairbanks
6-3 WIN for BG.
Either this is purely a Saturday team, or Bednard has established himself as the number one goaltender. Hard to say which is the case based on the rotation that's been used.

Re: @Fairbanks
That's what should've happened last night too...good to end the streak at 3 games. Maybe they'll make a second half run and suprise some people. Anything can happen in the playoffs.
