So far I can say that Worrell needs to practice at the line!

We REALLY need to improve our free throw shooting! It's cost us games already this year. On a bright note - our freshmen are great recruits.

How long has the team been practicing per day since exams? I believe the breaks are unlimited time and that would explain why the team didn't shoot well - tired legs results in short on shots. Based on the opponent I've got to believe a lot of time was spent recently preparing for the MAC season. It was discussed on one of the recent post-game interviews with Coach Huger that they would be putting a lot of things in during the break and today I understand he said they are going home for Christmas.
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

Calling Alabama A&M a bad team, would be an insult to bad teams. What happened to Lillard? He has to do more. He isn't hardly even worth minutes right now. Frye can flat out play, and I liked what Turner brought in first time I've seen him. Thankfully, the MAC is below average this year.

I think the key to this team is Uju or otherwise getting big man depth. We just can’t play Fox at the 4 and expect great things. Fox is a very solid rotational player but he shouldn’t be playing the 4 at all. The team looked very good throughout. Frye is a real find I think. I really liked what I saw in Turner. He seems like he has a great shot. He also seems like he has what I can only call long athleticism. He seems to get to places faster than I would expect him to. I think he will be a great fit. In fact I expect that him being on the court and the amount of guards we then have means that we can press a lot more. That’s something that I think Malik would excel at despite his lack of minutes. When you are loaded with guard talent don’t you have to press? The ball rotation was very good. The only thing I didn’t love was shooting not so great shots early in the shot clock. O like not knowing exactly who our best five is. It’s usually who is in at the end of the game. But that could be Fry or Denny at the 2, Caldwell or Ali at the 1, Worrell or Wiggins at the 5, Lillard or Frye at the 3

I think Lillard looked a little better today, Turner was fun to watch, and I like Frye's shot better than Denny's. It's quicker and he seems to be fearless. I still think we aren't hurting with Caldwell, Denny and Frye on the floor at the same time. 'Sheed is a serious liability at the free throw line and Wiggins needs to become better around the basket (where's Holmes when we need him :-)).

Alcegaire plays a pretty steady game, and Fox is a situational player, who should only be brought in as a shooter, although he did have one or two defensive plays today.

The scary part is this team is now 0-10, and this game was the 2nd closest they've had in the last 6. They were noted to be the absolute LAST D1 school in the country. Doesn't look good for the home team, or we seem to sink to the lowest level of our opponent. Yet, at least we get a W and get to see some of our future players.

I thought we badly sunk to the level of our competition for probably the first 15 minutes of the game, then finished on a nice run to end the half. We came out and blitzed them to build a 19-20 point lead to start the second half, then we kinda lolly-gagged it and let them keep it closer than it should have been. I never once felt that they were going to win the game, but still you should beat that team far easier than we did. I told my wife that was among the very worst teams I've ever seen come into BG...they were awful in all facets.

Frye is quickly becoming our best player, IMO.

I thought LIllard put up a decent stat line today, but still seems hesitant to attack off the dribble like he did so well at the end of last season. I just don't get it, he's so passive.

Turner looked like he might be a strong piece for us as well.

Quite a few minutes we had all 3 freshmen on the court at once; that's always exciting.
