I just think outside of Western Michigan and Toledo this year the conference was awful.

Toledo wasn't very good.

Absolutely. Their schedule was the weakest of the conference and I believe the only winning team they beat was EMU. They barely beat a bunch of bad teams, us included. Now they lose a ton of players. I hold by my prediction that Candle was a disaster of a hire and will sink the program.

Yep....I think they're going to struggle next year.

1. Toledo's schedule was not the weakest in the conference.
2. Their RPI is in the 50s in most ranking systems. Which for a MAC program is pretty good.
3. If they are not very good then that leaves us with 1 decent team and I'm not going to disagree with that.

Toledo always seems to be good any more. Even in years like this where they don't get to the MACC and lose a bowl, they're still pretty solid.
