Miami coach blew that one. 1st down at the 16 with a questionable kicker and he settled for a FG attempt. They had the defense on their heels. Should have tried for the TD or at least try to keep getting closer to make it an easier kick.

Looked like they werejusttrying to use clock, make MSU use time outs. The time out strategy seemed to work, but why they seemed to be trying to position ball rather than advancing it ( and instead LOST yds) didnt make much sense. Crazy part of the MAC bowl games is that they could easily be 3-2 in bowls instead of 0-5. Two games lost due to questionable coaching errors in crunch time alone.

Hard to tell if one or both of his kicks were low, but MSU had a really good push on both attempts that were blocked. Either way, you need to make those sort of kicks with better protection/better kick. On the game-winning FG attempt Miami even ran a play to simply center the kick attempt. They really let that one get away from them and will be kicking themselves in offseason after that one.
