Roughly 8 hours to tip and we haven't had the Akron losing streak rant yet?

For Christmas I got a Crystal Ball.. Looking into the ball I can predict a BG win. BG wins 72-67. You can put it on the board......... YES...... Streak is over.

Down 9 with 4:48 to play. I cannot see us winning this game if we don't figure out how to hit a damned 3. It's a miracle that we're within 9, and have been closer most of the way, with the way we have shot from deep.

You cannot win basketball games in 2017 shooting 1-11 from 3.

Ali & Wiggins playing their best games as Falcons, but doesn't matter because nobody can shoot for us from 3 tonight. Lillard had a great game as well.

Denny finally hits a 3 and now only down 5... need more of those.

We're in foul mode now...down 4 with :16 to play, looking pretty grim.

BG played their asses off tonight, but the 3 point shooting was atrocious. Seemed like we got beaten pretty bad on the boards as well.

We needed to make a few THREE's.

BG loses 89-84. Great effort. One of our better games of the season.

BG had 5 players in double figures led by Wiggins with 21.

BG shot 55% and 82% from the line. Only 9 turnovers.
Overall a great effort with the poor 3pt shooting.

Lillard takes a lot of bad shots
Worrell also takes a lot of bad shots
Both are very talented and if they ended up in the list of best players on the team I wouldn’t be surprised at all. Right now it’s just sloppy. Lillard could be the centerpiece of the team.

I am loving Wiggins. He might have become my favorite player. That sky hook, running the floor, upgrading his foul shooting like ive never seen. Often playing as the only Big on the floor.

Ali has had a fantastic game. Do more of that Ali.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Johnson makes the NBA. He isn’t an athlete but his size is real and he has court vision. Teams will love that for a 10-15 minute bench post.

Robatham looks like a backup dancer.

We are going to go from 2 big men to 5 next year. That’s huge.

We lost by 5 with 1 big man, shooting 25% from 3 and our bench scoring 5 points.

First time I have got to see the team in person this season. I was VERY impressed with the improvement this year. I love the game that Wiggins is developing-he can be soft on defense but I like the aggressiveness on offense. Ali played like a man last night-it's a pitty he can't stay for a few more years. I was telling my buddy at the game, if we only had one of the three point shooters that Akron had-we would have won going away last night. For the first time in ten years; I truly feel as though we could win a league championship next year....

The Zips radio announcers were very high on Wiggins...we played hard for 40 minutes and that's what it takes. Akron is simply a better, more talented team. But I think Huger has us on track.
