Was wondering what your thoughts were on this subject.
Who do we root for on Saturday. Eastern Michigan Vs. Marshall.
A Marshall win would knock Eastern 2 games behind us with one game remaining, assuming BG beats Toledo, and gives the women the MAC West Title.
However we would still be tied with Marshall, for the overall record meaning a slip up at Northern, and our programs play bad at Northern, just look at the mens team.
If Eastern wins, then BG will be one game up on both Eastern and Marshall and if BG would win at Northern they would win the MAC overall title. I do not want to tie the title.
Eastern plays its final game at Toledo and also has owned Toledo the past 3 years. Toledo is playing at home so I am hoping Toledo can do us a favor and knock off Eastern. With that said, I am rooting for Eastern to win on Saturday to knock Marshall one game behind us for overall record, and then have Toledo knock off Eastern. In doing this, we would wrap up a #1 seed even if we do lose at Northern because we own the tiebreaker over Marshall. We do not win any tie-breakers against Eastern.

marshall lost most any chance that it had to beat emu when sheperd-hall received her second T. she sits for that game. marshall's a good team with a lot of athleticism, but not much discipline. in any case, i don't think that they beat eastern w/o s.s-h.
