"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I really hope the goaltender rotation gets changed this weekend. From what I've seen, Bednard is the better goaltender. The team also plays better in front of him. Is that a result of him playing Saturday? Or is he really the better of the two? Won't know for sure until the rotation is switched up.

Or are they playing loose in front of Nell because they know he can (and has time and time again) make great saves and Bednard is the rookie, so you play harder in front of him? Things to ponder....

That's what I mean. Does the team play better on Saturday because it's Saturday? It's no secret Nell is struggling this season. He's been behind the puck (play) a lot, and more often than not, it looks like he's hoping the puck hits him. Bednard appears to be trying to control rebounds and is on top of the puck a lot better. If the team plays better as a whole on Saturday, I'd like to see Nell in net to take some of the pressure off him. There's a reason Bednard is drafted, and I won't hold making his debut in Lawson against him.

Nell has Jimmy Howard syndrome, great goalie but his inability to curtail rebounds absolutely kills him. Without a physical D goalies like Nell give up so many ugly bounce goals as teams simply crash the net to pop it in
