When you're 2 for 16 in three point shots, it's time to quit jacking up the threes.

It's nice to see Cecil and Thompson get some playing time. They combined for 15 points in the first half

Siefker 4th foul only three minutes into the second half. Time for her to go to the bench for about 12 minutes.

LOL It looks like BG is about to give Eastern the game. A turnover and 3 point shot at the buzzer puts EMU ahead and they are now up by 7!

I've seen it all. BG down 79-72 and BG takes their last timeout. Why? For the record, 81-74 loss in OT. EMU gets their 1st MAC win.

That's a bad bad lost in overtime. Lost to a terrible team. That's Eastern's first Conference win. Eastern didn't even have the two best players in overtime and we were still outscored by 7. BG is now in last place. Is it possible to leave the entire coaching staff at Eastern and find their own way home

It's a teaching moment. They can't find any other time to teach these girls.

It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

This team is very dysfunctional as a Division I competitor, so I would suggest hiring the gentleman in this link http://www.cramerbasketball.com" target="_blank to help turn this program around. I would encourage everyone reading this blog to check out this website and watch all the videos, and check back in with your views on player development, and how the lack thereof has so negatively impacted the BGSU women's basketball team. I think the AD needs to sit down with this guy and determine the best way they can utilize his expertise. What he does is EXTREMELY impressive!

I wouldn't hire him as a head coach. But as an assistant or associate coach possibility. Just because somebody is great at developing skills doesn't really make them great as a head coach. Remember Jans best qualities was developing young talent and a great recruiter. Nobody knew about his background or drinking problem. I feel Roos would be good as an assistant coach. She just didn't translate into a head coach.

Looks like they are coming to BG on Feb. 25. To do a YOUTH shooting clinic. Maybe Roos should send some of her young, generally inexperienced asst. coaches to this. I think this is part of the problem as there's been a large turnover of staff since Miller left... And mostly with little overall experience.
